An immigration officer may impose, vary or cancel conditions when issuing a work permit. The restrictions may include the following:
Type of employment you are allowed to take
The employer for whom you may work
Where you may work
How long you may continue to work
How many extensions of my work permit am I allowed?
There is no set limit on the number of extensions allowed. However, each extension will be evaluated on its merit and the government fees will always be applicable.
